I only had experience working with Jan Farbre in the Ballet Frankfurt piece “The Sound of One Hand Clapping”. I found the experience very challenging and not entirely pleasant, but I have to stress that Jan was not abusive in any way.
He was demanding and he urged us to dig very deeply, but this was for the work and I believe he was pleased with what emerged from all the artists involved.
I would like to support this letter as I agree that Jan Farbre and Troubleyn are an important part of the arts in Belgium, and internationally.
