Of course put my name on this! I had a difficult time working with Jan, it wasn’t always “fun” and I didn’t always know what we were doing or where that ship was headed, but I never felt abused or coerced into anything I didn’t want to do!
I am male and was not really attracted to him, so maybe my experience was different than some of the women. He pushes people into uncomfortable positions sometimes during the process of creation, but, I think that is exactly why his work is different than most everybody else, and why it has a strength and resonance beyond just one man’s viewpoint.
